Our PureCube Strep-Tactin® MagBeads XL is a suspension of 6% cross-linked magnetic agarose beads that is coupled to the StrepTactin protein. They enable protein yields of up to 7 mg protein per ml MagBeads.
They were developed for protein purification assays using the Strep-Tactin® using magnetic separation. PureCube Strep-Tactin® products can also be obtained as agarose resin. Furthermore, PureCube StrepTactin® MagBeads are also available with a smaller bead diameter for higher mechanical stability of the beads.
For your convenience Cube Biotech also offers its own MagBead separator for use with our magnetic beads.

FAQ
Can I get the datasheet for the PureCube HiCap StrepTactin® MagBeads XL?
Is StrepTactin® the same as Streptavidin?
No, they are not. StrepTactin® is a bioengineered protein, originally based on Streptavidin. However, StrepTactin cannot bind to biotin, while Streptavidin cannot bind to the Strep-tag.
Can I regenerate & reuse your StrepTactin® beads?
