Description

The HighSpec Rho1D4 Compact Cartridge is a pre-packed FPLC column containing our HighSpec Rho1D4 Agarose resin. It is meant for protein purification assays of the highest possible purity, exploiting the specificity of an antibody to its antigen. More on the Rho1D4-tag can be read here.
You can also purchase the pre-packed Rho1D4 agarose as loose resin. Alternatively, Rho1D4 MagBeads are also available, if you prefer this affinity chromatography method.

Additional support products for Rho1D4-tag purification assays are Rho1D4 peptide, an essential compound of the elution buffer, and our Rho1D4 antibody for later western blot detection of your protein.

You are using the Rho1D4-tag for the first time? For this case, we recommend using one of our three Rho1D4 Starter Kits. Each combined one of our Rho1D4-tag purification products + 5 mg of the Rho1D4 elution peptide.

Lab Results

Rho1D4-tag purification products are especially handy when it comes to the purification of proteins with low abundance. And a huge group of these proteins is membrane proteins. Even overexpressed their concentration does not come close to their soluble counterparts.

Figure 1 shows the purification of four different membrane proteins. Each time the purification has resulted in great purity and lots of protein.
