Description

Please note: this product replaces PureCube HiCap Strep-Tactin® FPLC column (Cat. No. 34302 & 34306).
Strep-Tactin® 4Flow® high capacity FPLC column  is identical to PureCube HiCap Strep-Tactin® FPLC column.
Strep-Tactin® 4Flow® high capacity FPLC columns are ready-to-use columns for affinity chromatography. They are suitable for automated protein purification with HPLC/FPLC devices such as Äkta® systems (Cytiva). The FPLC columns contain a cross-linked agarose coupled to the ligand Strep -Tactin®, a streptavidin variant that binds to Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins. This protein purification system is characterized by a high target purity of >95% and a stable performance even after several regeneration cycles. These columns are the perfect alternative for proteins that are difficult to elute from Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® and Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® high capacity FPLC columns.

FAQ

Can I get the datasheet for the Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® high capacity FPLC column?

Yes. Just click here to download it as a PDF File.

Is Strep-Tactin® the same as Streptavidin?

No, they are not. Strep-Tactin® is a bioengineered protein, originally based on Streptavidin. However, Strep-Tactin® cannot bind to biotin, while Streptavidin cannot bind to the Strep-tag.
