CLDN18.1 - Claudin-18.1 (isoform 1)
Order number: 70811
Description
We are excited to introduce our off-the-shelf, full-length, active, and native CLDN18.1, commonly known as Claudin-18.1. It is the lung-specific isoform of claudin-18. It is involved in tight junction and barrier formation in the lung epithelium, but also in mediating the osteoprotective effects of oestrogen. It has been identified as a regulator of lung homeostasis and is also involved in the proliferation of malignant cells found in lung adenocarcinomas, which makes it a potential therapeutic target in cancer.
Our Claudin-18.1 protein has been solubilized and stabilized using our NativeMP™ platform, ensuring it retains its native structure and full biological activity, making it ideal for various research applications.
