DRD1 - D(1) dopamine receptor
Order number: 70181
Description
We are excited to introduce our off-the-shelf, full-length, active, and native D(1) dopamine receptor, commonly known as DRD1. This G-protein coupled receptor inhibits adenylyl cyclase activity and is involved in reward-mediating mesocorticolimbic pathways. DRD1 has been also associated with schizophrenia and moreover it is the main receptor for many antipsychotic drugs.
Our DRD1 protein has been solubilized and stabilized using our NativeMP™ platform, ensuring it retains its native structure and full biological activity, making it ideal for various research applications.

| Function | The Dopamine Receptor D1 (DRD1) mediates essential functions in motor control, reward, and cognition by stimulating cAMP production in the brain. Its therapeutic relevance lies in managing Parkinson’s disease and cognitive impairment, where selective targeting helps restore neurological balance with fewer side effects than non-selective treatments.. |
